Probate
Probate is the process of dealing with the estate of someone who has died. This involves paying outstanding debts from the deceased’s estate and distributing any remaining assets in accordance with their Will or rules of intestacy where there is no valid Will.
UNIONLINE’S PROBATE TEAM:
UnionLine’s probate work is carried out by Harriet Prestwich and Caitlin Coley and overseen by Maddalena Proctor.
Harriet joined UnionLine in November 2021 and has over four years’ experience. Harriet has gained her certificate in STEP Advanced Certificate in Administration of Estates, and she is currently working towards her full STEP diploma.
Caitlin graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a LLB Law Degree in 2019 and joined Unionline in March 2022. Caitlin has completed the Advanced Certificate in Administration of Estates and is working towards her STEP diploma.
Maddalena joined Unionline in January 2020 and has over 20 years’ experience in Wills, Trusts and Probate. Maddalena is responsible for reviewing and supervising probate files and checking any Probate documents drafted by the team.
